Water as a conduit, a means of communication, has been a recurrent theme in the work. This series of drawings and photographs, Wet Suite Series 1, was begun in Amsterdam in 2004 and completed in London in 2008. It consists of twelve images which explores notions of movement and aftermath or hiatus in spaces between randomly occurring objects in a city which is inherently about and of water. The series Wet Suite ii 2008-12 features a complementary set of images made in locations on the River Thames and Regent’s Canal, London.
